J CharlesTURNER(Alnwick) Suddenly but peacefully on the 5th January aged 73 years. Charlie beloved husband of Barbara, much loved Dad of Sarah and Matthew and Father in Law to Karen. A devoted Granda to Oliver and Emma and a loving Brother of Barbara and her husband Sid. Charlie will be greatly loved and missed by all of his family and friends. Due to the current guidelines a private service will be held on Friday 22nd January at 11am. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu to Cancer Research Uk and British Heart Foundation

We'll never forget Charlie, a larger-than-life personality, whose laughter we heard before we saw him! A good neighbour and then friend, even after we moved away, he will be sadly missed. One of the good'uns.
